JOLT is an AdCP seller. Connect an AI buying agent, describe a campaign in plain language, get a priced plan for any JOLT market, and book it — with human approval before anything plays.
The Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) is an open standard that lets AI agents plan and buy advertising by talking to sellers directly. JOLT runs an AdCP seller agent: point a compatible buying agent at it and the agent can ask for a plan, refine it, sync creative, book, and read delivery — the same inventory, the same pricing and the same approval as the wizard.
JOLT's seller agent speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol) over HTTPS. Any MCP-capable assistant or agent framework can connect:
get_adcp_capabilities to confirm the connection and see what the seller supports.| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
get_products | Turn a brief into a priced plan: screens, impressions, plays, CPM, cost, in the market's currency |
get_products (refine) | Adjust an existing plan — radius, dates, share of time, budget |
list_creative_formats | The spec: portrait 1080 × 1920, image or video |
sync_creatives | Register creatives from a public HTTPS URL |
create_media_buy | Book the plan. It is placed paused, pending human approval |
update_media_buy | Change a booked buy; re-enters approval |
get_media_buy_delivery | Impressions, plays and spend delivered |
request_discount | Ask for a negotiated CPM on committed spend of 50,000 or more |
The agent reads the market from the brief — a country, a currency symbol or a known city (Sydney, London, Toronto, Auckland, Los Angeles). State what you can:
Where a city name exists in more than one market (Perth, Hamilton, Melbourne), the agent can pin the market explicitly. Budgets are read in the market's currency and never converted.
A plan opens with a JOLT PLAN SPEC block — market, screens, share of time, flight, impressions, plays, CPM, cost — and carries a per-screen list, a coverage map link and the basis of every number (measured playout or modeled estimate). The same brief returns the same plan, so agents can compare options reliably.
Every buy booked through an agent is held for human approval by JOLT before it delivers, exactly like a wizard campaign. Creative goes through the same review. Once approved, the campaign plays on its start date and the agent can read delivery from the same records your report uses.
Identical to the wizard: the market's rate card (or city rate), the plan's dayparts, pacing and lead time, held between the floor and cap, in the market's currency. Agents are not offered discounts unless the buyer asks; see Discounts for committed spend.
