Target screens near specific venues or venue categories — gyms, supermarkets, a competitor's stores — using a brand or category search and a radius.
A point of interest (POI) is a real venue, or a category of venues, that you want to appear near. You add POIs in the targeting step alongside your locations.
Each POI has its own radius. A screen qualifies if it sits within that radius of at least one matching venue.
POIs narrow, they do not widen. Your locations decide the area; POIs decide the context within the area. A screen has to satisfy both:
If you add a POI and the screen count drops to zero, the venues you searched for are not near any JOLT screens inside your locations. Widen the POI radius or the location radius, or try a broader category.
Targeting near points of interest carries a proximity premium on the CPM, because you are buying context rather than plain coverage. The quote shows the multiplier applied, and the savings options show what you would pay without it. See How pricing works.
