Every campaign goes through creative review and a human approval before it plays. The timeline from Launch to live, the statuses you will see, and when you are charged.
The timeline
- Submitted. You click Launch campaign. Your screens are held and the campaign appears in your list as pending.
- Creative review. The JOLT team checks your creative, usually within one business day. See Creative review.
- Campaign approval. A JOLT team member approves the buy itself — the screens, dates and rate. Every campaign on JOLT, whether booked in the wizard or by an AI agent, is approved by a person before it can deliver.
- Live. Your ad starts playing on the start date, or immediately if the start date has passed. We email you the moment it does.
- Reporting. Impressions, plays and spend appear in your report and refresh through the day. See Understanding your report.
- Billing. You are charged for impressions that delivered, on your billing cadence. See How billing works.
Statuses
These are the words you see on your Campaigns list and on each campaign page.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|
| Draft | Saved in the wizard, not submitted |
| Submitted | With the JOLT team: creative review or campaign approval in progress |
| Reserved | Screens are held; add a creative to go live |
| Live | Approved and playing on screens (or waiting for its start date) |
| Paused | Delivery stopped, by you or by JOLT; can be resumed |
| Payment required | Live but no payment method could be charged in this market; add a card to continue |
| Ended | Reached its end date, or ended early by you |
Before a campaign can be approved
- The creative must be approved.
- Your organization needs a payment method that can be charged in the campaign's market, or approved credit terms. If a campaign is approved without one, you have 24 hours to add a card before it is held. See How billing works.
If something needs changing
We will tell you exactly what. Rejections name the reason; a campaign held for billing names the market that needs a card. Fix it and the campaign moves on without you having to rebuild anything.
Following delivery
Open the campaign from your Campaigns list for its report, or share the report link with colleagues and clients. Each campaign also has a coverage map showing every screen it is playing on. See Sharing reports.
